My last exam in order to obtain my three-year diploma was in European law. I had been keeping this exam for two years and eventually, unwillingly, I faced it.
I hard put to pass it. I was working in a bookshop in Bologna and had not time to deepen my knowledge about European law. In addition, my attitude towards European Union was definetely offish and mistrustful.
Then, the blind chance not only moved me to Brussels but also suggested to continue my studies, opting for European politics. And I started to know the ins and outs of the European project. The complained Brussels’ fault began to bother me. Now it just makes me smile unhopefully.
